JUICER QUESTIONS:
Does the Norwalk Juicer have any commercial certification?
No. We manufacture and sell the Norwalk Juicer for personal use.
What is the price of a juicer?
Stainless steel is $2,495.00 plus shipping.
The wood grain model and colored juicers are $2,395.00 plus shipping.
What type of material is on the outside of the juicer?
The colored juicers are an aluminum siding with the paint baked on. An abrasive cleaner or scrubber cannot be used on these machines. The wood grain finish is a vinyl laminate on aluminum and is the second most durable next to the stainless steel model. The stainless steel juicer is a stainless steel panel. The parts that come into direct contact with the food are stainless steel on all juicers.
What does the juicer come with?
The Norwalk juicer comes with everything needed to get started. For the list of all parts included, click here http://www.norwalkjuicers.com/model-280/.
SHIPPING QUESTIONS:
Is insurance included in the price of shipping?
Yes
What happens if my juicer is damaged during shipping?
If a machine arrives damaged, notify UPS and Norwalk and we will work on getting a claim started. Do not use. Save box and packaging.
What is the difference between UPS Standard shipping and Expedited?
UPS Standard shipping to Canada does not include the brokerage fee. Expedited shipping does include the brokerage fee. Neither one includes customs, such as: duties, taxes, or fees due on your end.
Do Canada and Mexico shipments receive the North American Free Trade Agreement?
Juicers to Canada and Mexico have a NAFTA form sent with them. This will reduce the custom fees. We do not know by how much. If you want to know how much the fees are, you need to contact UPS or your local customs agency directly.
What is included in the price of shipping on international orders?
The shipping cost includes the shipping and insurance only. It does NOT include any duties, brokerage, or custom fees. Those will be due upon the juicers arrival and are the buyer’s responsibility.
WARRANTY QUESTIONS:
How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
For personal use to the original purchaser, the warranty is 12 years on parts and labor against defects of material and workmanship. For commercial use to the original purchaser, the warranty is 2 years on parts and labor against defects of material and workmanship. This does not include bags, cloths, pushers, belts or shipping costs. This does not include lost parts, or damage caused by the user.
Can I transfer the warranty if I sell my Norwalk Juicer?
No. The warranty is non-transferable. The warranty is to the original purchaser only.
PARTS QUESTIONS:
Why do I need to include the shaft measurement when I purchase a cutter?
So the cutter may be fit to your shaft before it is shipped to you.
Will the 280 model juice tray, cutter, housing, or o-rings fit on my model 275 or older?
No. The juice tray for the model 280 is deeper, wider, and heavier. It is made specifically for the model 280. If used on any other model, it could cause damage to your juicer. The cutter, housing, and o-rings for the model 280 are also made specifically for the model 280 and will not fit any other model.
I have heard that the white o-ring on the face plate of the Model 280 is unsanitary. How do I clean the o-ring?
Like any part on a juicer that comes in contact with the produce, it must be washed after use. The new FDA approved o-ring is easy to remove and clean. Press or pinch the o-ring with your thumb and index finger, and then pull the o-ring off with your other hand. Wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. The groove where the o-ring sits can be wiped off with a soapy cloth and rinsed with a clean damp cloth.
The Norwalk Model 280 works with or without the white o-ring on the face plate.
Will the instruction manual for the 280 work for my older juicer?
The model 280 instruction manual can be used for older models. Any model before the 275 will use the #2 grid instead of the juicing grid.
What material is used to make the bags and cloths?
Bags and cloths are made from polyester. It is uncoated, heat treated, poly-spun material. Any natural material (cotton, hemp, wool, or silk) will not hold under the pressure.
