Norwalk’s Juice of the Month for November is Carrot and Green Apple Juice. Here are some helpful tips for preparation of your carrots and green apples.

Top, tail, and peel carrots before thoroughly washing to remove all bacteria and dirt prior to juicing. By doing so, you ensure only the freshest and purest part of the carrot is juiced, allowing the juice to stay fresher longer in your refrigerator.

If the apples are not organic, wash and rinse them thoroughly using an organic fruit and vegetable wash to remove any wax, pesticides, or herbicides from the apple. Organic fruit and vegetable wash is available in your local produce aisle.

Simply wash, and quarter your apples to prepare them for juicing with The Norwalk.
