The Norwalk makes great nut butters. Use grid #3 for chunky and grid #4 for creamy. Place the dry nuts of your choice into the feed tube and pan. Place your hand firmly over the top of the feed pan before you turn the motor on, to keep nuts from blowing out of the feed tube as you start grinding. After a few moments, the nuts will warm as they are ground by the cutter into nut butter. To eliminate throwback, allow the pusher to gravity feed the final nuts through the feed tube.

Remember there are no preservatives in your nut butter. Refrigerate as needed. Nut butters taste best freshly made and warm.
