When juicing citrus fruits, such as oranges or grapefruits, you can make nectars using the cutter, or pulp-free juice using the press.

Always peel your citrus fruits before juicing. Remove the seeds if you desire.

To make nectars, insert grid #4 into the grid holder and slide it into the feed tube of your Norwalk Juicer. Before turning on the Norwalk, first insert a wedge of citrus fruit into the feed tube and cover it with the pusher to prevent throwback. Continue adding and pushing fruit wedges into the feed tube, never allowing the pusher to go more than halfway down the feed tube until you have added your final fruit wedges. Enjoy this nectar as soon as possible.

To press your citrus, place a cup of fruit into the center third of the flat cloth. Fold the cloth into thirds now, keeping the citrus fruit in the center third. Place the folded cloth onto the center of the juice tray. Repeat these steps for the 2nd cloth. Always juice with 2 cloths and check that the juice tray is centered on the press plate. Turn on your Norwalk, and turn the press lever to press your juice. Let the tray sit fully pressed for no longer than 10 seconds, before turning the press lever off and letting the juice tray down. Enjoy this delicious pulp-free juice, which can be stored in your refrigerator for up to 3 days.
