Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the pith and seeds. Peel and cut into pieces small enough to fit into housing.
Salads (Grid #1)
Triturate the cantaloupe very rapidly and drain. The juice may be used for drinking or other purposes. Cantaloupe chops to the consistency of crushed pineapple and is very good for fruit salads, etc.
Puree (Grid #3)
Triturate as with salads. Pureed cantaloupe has the consistency of applesauce. It makes a fine topping for desserts.
Juice (Press Only)
Fill the center portion of a filter cloth with cantaloupe pieces. Fold into thirds and always press with two cloths.
Nectar (Grid #4)
Triturate only. Place the pusher on top of the melon in the feed tube and allow it to gravity feed.
Frozen Cantaloupe Dessert (Grid #1)
Triturate only. Peel and cut well ripened cantaloupe into pieces small enough to fit into housing. Place in plastic bag and freeze. After frozen, triturate as above.
